CDL driver applicants provide SMS consent through two channels:
When an applicant completes a CDL driver application on the CDLCatch platform, they encounter the SMS consent checkbox on the final Review & Submit step. The checkbox is unchecked by default and requires the applicant to actively check it. Below is the exact consent language shown to applicants, with [Carrier Name]standing in for the name of the motor carrier the applicant is applying to — messages are sent on that carrier’s behalf, so the carrier is named to the applicant, not the platform. The server stores the rendered text verbatim and rejects a submission whose acknowledged text does not match it.

I provide my prior express written consent for [Carrier Name], and those acting on its behalf, to contact me by text message at the mobile number I provided, including through an automatic telephone dialing system or with prerecorded or artificial voice messages, regarding my application status, document requests, interview scheduling, and job placement.
I understand that consent is not a condition of employment or of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. I may opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help.
The checkbox above is shown unchecked by default. The applicant must actively click it to provide consent. No SMS messages are sent unless this checkbox is checked.
When leads are generated through Facebook Lead Ads or Google Ads lead forms, those forms include the following disclosure text in the form confirmation:

This disclosure appears on all CDLCatch-connected Facebook Lead Ad and Google Ads lead forms before the applicant submits their contact information.
In the application form, when applicants enter their phone number (Step 1 — Personal Information), they see the following informational notice beneath the phone field:

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time using any of the following methods:

Reply STOP to any SMS message from CDLCatch. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

Mobile opt-in data and mobile phone numbers collected by CDLCatch will not be shared with, sold to, or rented to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are used exclusively to send application-related SMS communications from the hiring company through the CDLCatch platform.
